Social Enterprise / SEED Capital Fund
THE NEED:
The Foundation understands that there are millions of innocent people in the world suffering. They experience pain, hunger and sometimes hopelessness.
The objective is to perpetually help as many of these people as possible and as efficiently as possible through the Foundation's college graduates.
To this end, the Foundation created a Social Enterprise / SEED Capital Fund to alleviate some of the world's poverty through its programs.
METHODOLOGY:
Upon graduation from college, the Foundation scholars will be encouraged to prepare a business plan presentation that has a social impact in underserved communities.
The Board of Directors review each plan for feasibility purposes and the impact it can potentially have in the community where that business will be launched.
Should the alum demonstrate how their venture will impact more people through social and economic development, the Foundation will provide a business start-up grant and consulting to assure the business will succeed.
